Buddhism: A Path of Peace

Buddhism is one of the world's oldest religions, founded over 2,500 years ago in India by Siddhartha Gautama, known as the Buddha or the "Enlightened One." It is a philosophy centered on achieving spiritual peace and ending suffering.

The core teachings of Buddhism are based on the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, which guide followers toward ethical living, mental discipline, and wisdom. Buddhists believe in the concepts of Karma (actions and consequences) and Samsara (the cycle of rebirth). The ultimate goal is to reach Nirvana, a state of liberation and perfect peace. By practicing mindfulness, meditation, and kindness, Buddhism inspires millions to live a life of compassion and non-violence.
